Can't save myself

While playing this morning, I started to Save Manually, but then noticed the game was auto saving.
So I waited until that finished, and tried again.
Now every time I try to save, it brings me back to the menu that gives you the Save, Load, Exit options.
So I click Save again, and it just recycles me.
So, I had to trigger an Auto save in order to turn off the game for work.
Has this save issue happened to anyone else, and will it possibly resolve itself?
All I can do is check after work.

Haven't encountered it myself but i think other people had this problem before, hopefully it gets patched or something.

So, I went back, and played my game again.
Sadly, when I logged back on, I was quite a bit behind.
There were at least 7 quests I had to redo.
Though easy, it was a bit frustrating.
I had been at the part where I needed to fight the Genie or find a Spell-Breaker for Julie.
Then I had been reset to Just after the Sphinx had communicated with the Scarab for the first time.
It was just a bit of a big jump.
Very careful about saving now.
But I really do hope this gets fixed, I'd hate for this problem to come about when the next game is done, and I'm ready to link up and play, and find myself in a Stasis Crystal...

What a pain

If this problem persists, you can always delete the game and re-install it. Before attempting this, make sure that you save your game manually and also trigger an autosave. This process helped with other downloadable PSN titles so I hope it would work for you.
